2026 Carnival

The Ickesburg community is invited to come out this summer for the 2026 Ickesburg Carnival, scheduled for Wednesday, July 15 through Saturday, July 18. The annual event will feature live entertainment, food, rides, bingo, family activities, and community traditions, with proceeds benefiting the Ickesburg Fire Company and the Ickesburg Lions Club.

The carnival grounds will open each evening with the kitchen beginning service at 5:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food options throughout the week, including hot dogs, soda, chicken BBQ, pork and sauerkraut, snow cones, hot sausage, cheese steaks, french fries, homemade ice cream, funnel cakes, pretzels, pizza, and other vendor favorites. Children’s meals will also be available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Live entertainment is scheduled each night of the carnival. Chris Woodward and Shin Diggin will perform on Wednesday, July 15; Dark Side On Tap will take the stage Thursday, July 16; Katz 22 will perform Friday, July 17; and the Colt Wilbur Band will close out the carnival on Saturday, July 18.

In addition to music and food, the carnival will include bingo every night, rides provided by Double M Amusements Ride Company, and arm bands available each evening. Organizers also welcome donations of cakes and goodies for the paddle wheel.

A special highlight of the week will be the quilt auction on Saturday, July 18, at 7:00 p.m. The quilts are made by the Ickesburg Quilters, and personal checks will be accepted.

“This carnival is one of the most important community events of the year for our fire company and the Lions Club,” a department spokesperson said. “It brings neighbors together, supports local volunteers, and helps us continue serving the community. We are grateful for everyone who attends, donates, volunteers, or helps spread the word.”

Guests are reminded that smoking is permitted only in designated areas. No alcohol, coolers, or pets are permitted on the Ickesburg Volunteer Fire Company grounds, with service animals allowed. The event is handicap accessible.

Community members are encouraged to bring their families, invite their friends, and spend an evening supporting local volunteers. The Ickesburg Fire Company and Ickesburg Lions Club thank the community for its continued support and look forward to seeing everyone at the 2026 Ickesburg Carnival.
